About Dutch First

Dutch First is one of the best Dutch language schools and offers small group courses in modern classrooms located in the heart of Utrecht, as well as a high-quality learning environment welcoming motivated students from around the world. As of the 1st of September 2023, Dutch First is officially approved by Blik op werk (keurmerk inburgeren voor bepaalde tijd) for providing Inburgering courses preparing you for the inburgering exam.

You will find our Dutch language center at Niasstraat 1, only 15 minutes walking distance from Utrecht Central Station. We offer a variety of language courses throughout the year ranging from standard to intensive courses. Courses are available at our school location as well as online in the virtual classroom. Moreover, we offer specialized classes for businesses or individuals, as well as tailored self-study courses.

Dutch First is a partner school of Alfaskolen AS in Oslo, Norway. We succesfully use the same teaching method used and improved over many years. We offer interactive lessons using Smart technology. Moreover, we make use of the latest and improved course materials to make your learning experience the best. Our motivated teachers are qualified to teach you the ins and outs of the language and culture of the Netherlands!

We guarantee that our courses are of high quality. During the course we use thorough evaluation methods. We evaluate courses internally as well as through participants’ feedback during and after the course.

Dutch First is officially registered as a participant in the database of the Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC) as well as with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission with PIC 898283730. You can find us in the chamber of commerce (KVK) under registration number 66355494.

Dutch First is officially certified by Blik op Werk keurmerk voor bepaalde tijd for Inburgering courses from September 2023. At our Dutch language school in Utrecht we offer Inburgering courses for those planning to take the inburgering exam (civic integration exam).
