A2 Dutch course (Contact! nieuw 2)

This is the A2 basic level Dutch language course at Dutch First. 

You will benefit from thoroughly updated and revised teaching material, with a focus on pronunciation and applying Dutch both at work and in everyday situations. 

In this course, we will cover the full Contact! nieuw 2 books to cover the A2 level.



Learn Dutch in Dutch, fast and efficiently. You will focus on understanding, speaking and even thinking in Dutch language from day one.

The course is at level A2 based on language levels as described in the
 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

With this course you complete part A2 of the basic Dutch language level. After this course, you can continue with the B1 intermediate language level, for example by joining in our B1 full package course, or the B1.1 module course.


We offer this course both as an online and as a classroom-based course. You can attend sessions once a week (Saturdays only, 6 lesson hours per session), twice a week (3 lesson hours per session, Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday) or four times a week (3 lesson hours per session, Monday - Thursday). Each lesson hour lasts 45 minutes. Expected self-study time investment is about two hours per lesson.
 

Course materials

The use of books and other teaching materials on the course is obligatory. Books are not included in the cost of the course and you can buy the required books at our school or in most bookshops. Your instructor will also provide additional material that is not included in your textbook and associated workbook. You will receive homework based on the textbook and workbook used on your course.

The books are available in a paper version or a digital version (license 14 months). You can choose to buy what you prefer to use. Bring your paper or digital books to each lesson. 
Contact! - Nieuw 2 (A2): Textbook €40,90; Workbook €37,40; or digital text- and workbook combined for €40,90. It is also possible to get a set of the digital books including an additional paper textbook €50,70.  


Course Certificate

At the end of the full course, if you attended 80% or more of the lessosn hours and paid the course fee, you will receive an official digital course certificate.
 

Public holidays

Sessions that per schedule would fall on a Dutch public holiday, will take place on Fridays.
