Dutch First BV – Privacy policy

Dutch First BV is part of SG Management Group. This privacy policy concerns how Dutch First handles personal information when you visit our website. Dutch First treats personal data with the highest possible care and confidentiality. We meet the requirements that the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) imposes on us. Dutch First only stores necessary data about (former) students, clients, employees, exam candidates and (partner) organizations. The purpose of collecting and storing data is to organize, publicize and evaluate the services of Dutch First.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect your information when you register for a language course. We also collect information when you take a level test, complete a voluntary customer survey, provide feedback and enter competitions. Information about the use of the website is collected by means of cookies. Only the following information is stored about students: first and last name, address, place of residence, country, nationality, date of birth, e-mail address & telephone number. The information we know is only the information you entered during your registration on our website.

How will we use the information about you?

We store information about you to process your order, manage your account, customize groups and, if you agree, to email you about other products and services that may be of interest to you.
We use information collected through our website to personalize your repeat visits to the website.
Dutch First does not share your information with third parties outside of SG Management Group for marketing or other purposes.

Who has access to the personal data?

Only those employees for whom it is necessary for the performance of their duties and in accordance with their job description have access to the personal data via login details. Employees who have access to the personal data have a duty of confidentiality with regard to the data learned on the basis of that access.

How long is the data kept?

Unless otherwise stated, the retention period ends five years after the last contact with the data subject.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about our products and services that you may be interested in. If you have agreed to receive a promotion, you can indicate later that you no longer want this.
You have the right at any time to have Dutch First stop contacting you for marketing purposes and giving your information to third parties within SG Management Group.

If you no longer wish to receive communications for marketing purposes, please send an email with “I do not want to receive marketing information” to [email protected].

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information about you that is known to us. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal data, please contact us at [email protected]
